New patch in Diablo 2 makes it harder to clear characters - protects you from stupid mistakes

IndiaBlo 2: Resurrected is there a new update with some small changes. One of these changes resolves a bigger problem of some players: deleted characters. At least partially.

This is in the patch: With the new update from the 12th of October it is now harder to delete your own characters. The whole procedure now needs several steps and it should no longer come to accidental deletions.

At least on the Xbox you must now explicitly select the character management to delete a character, then select the deletion via the X button and press the deletion via pressing a further key. Inadvertently, hardly something can happen here.
