FIFA 22: EA Sports announces Echampions League

The Echampions League has quickly become one of the most coveted trophies of the global series season.

This year EA Sports has announced that the events will be played again, if the conditions permit, and that it wants to further expand the competition to crown the new European champion.

ECL Qualifications online - 4 and 5 December 2021

Players will compete in one of the four online qualifiers:

West : France, Iceland, Ireland, United Kingdom Iberia and Benelux : Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Portugal, Spain Germany and Austria : Austria, Germany North and East Europe : Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

Each of these competitions will adopt the Swiss format to determine the 16 players who will enter the eliminatory phase.

ECL group phase - February 19 and 20, 2022

The four groups will become two, and players will participate in one of the two competitions:

Eastern Europe: West, Iberia and Benelux Central and Eastern Europe: Germany and Austria, North and East Europe

This face-to-face tournament will be developed in two events with Swiss format. Each group will be completed in a day, with 16 of the 32 players of each competition advancing at the next stage.

Direct removal phase ECL - 23 and 24 April 2022

The remaining 32 players will enter the dual-elimination raffle and will continue to play until only eight.

ECL FINALS - May 27, 2022

The finals will be played on the day before the UEFA Champions League final and will convert the champion of Echampions League 2022!

Awards

In addition to the Echampions League trophy, players will compete for a portion of the accumulated prize of more than $ 280,000!
