In the second Norwegian league, a game of a player has come to a game of cardiac arrest.
In the 12th minute of Sogndal IL and Stjordals / Blink, the Icelandic professional Emil Palsson was collapsed and admitted to a disease. This reported the Norwegian broadcaster NRK and the newspaper verens Gang.
As Sogndal confirmed, Palsson had suffered a cardiac arrest, but could be revived. The game was aborted as a result, the referee asked the players to go to the cabins. The viewers were asked to retire into the stadiums.
Another similar incident was treated in the summer at the European Championship: after the Dane Christian Eriksen had collapsed in the group match against Finland and had to be revived, the game was continued after a long interruption. Subsequently, the decision of UEFA had been criticized sharply.
